Fatigue Management

This course prepares the driver to
participate in the Transitional Fatigue Management
Scheme (TFMS).
-
Drivers participating in the TFMS are
required to comply with the following driving, working
and rest ties for Heavy Vehicles. Legally Drivers must
record the time they spend driving, working (excluding
driving) and resting in the National Drivers Logbook, or
by using another approved method.

continuous period or as two continuous periods of 15

period of 48 Hours or two continuous periods each of

The course runs over a fortnight, two four
hour sessions at our location and an assignment the trainee
takes away to do during the next two weeks prior to the
final session.

When:
On Application.
Time:
0800 Hours (8am) to 1200 Hours (12 Midday).
Cost:
$120.00 + G.S.T.
Requirements

Drivers participating in scheme are
required to have the prescribed medical on a regular
basis.

Obtain your employers endorsement to
participate in the scheme.

Your current employer is required to
register in the scheme and make a commitment to manage
your employment so you can comply with the requirements
of the scheme. He / She is also required to
endorse your participation in the scheme.

it is important to manage your diet
and get regular exercise.
-
As with all other legal requirements
the use of drugs and stimulants need to be avoided.
