Australian Institute of Petroleum (AIP) Passport.

This training is an oil industry requirement for drivers to gain entry to Refineries and storage facilities.

Duration of Course:             1 X 8 Hour Day.

  • Before the candidate can be issued a passport, they must submit to a practical assessment at a loading Gantry, the candidate will be required to load one compartment of a tanker under supervision of the depot training manager.

  • They will assess the candidates competency, and sign the gantry loading report then return the completed report to Alltrans Training Services, who will process and send the candidates registration to the Australian Institute of Petroleum.

Duration of Licence:   Must be refreshed EVERY 3 (THREE) years.  The

                                  Trainee must also have written proof of

                                  employment within the fuel industry for the

                                  past 3 (THREE) years.

 

  • The trainee must have written verification of employment within the fuel industry for the past three years.

  • If you are going to refresh both your Dangerous Goods and AIP on the same day, the AIP Students will remain after the Dangerous Goods for a couple of hours to do their refresher.
