Multi Combination Licence Course

Our Vehicle:

• 3 Axel Prime Mover.

• Towing a triaxle A Trailer, and a  38 foot McGrath Bogie Trailer.

• Our Prime Mover is a Freightliner, Series 60 Detroit Diesel, 425 HP with a 18 speed road ranger gear box.

Course Structure:

• Theory = 4 Hours.

• Training and Assessment of Off road Component = 1 Hour and 10 Minutes (Vehicle Checks, Coupling of A and B Trailer & Reversing).

• On Road Component Training = 2 Hours.

• On road assessment = 45 Minutes.

• Issue Certificate of Attainment if successful.

Applicants upgrading from Heavy Combination (HC) to Multi Combination (MC).

Applicants with a HC Licence who have had their HC Licence for for over 12 months can undertake a 2 day course or a one day course.

Applicants upgrading from HR to MC

Applicants with a HR license meeting the Tenure requirements must be assessed to HC standard. An applicant who is unable to demonstrate an appropriate level of competence at HC standard cannot proceed to the MC training phase.

Course is 4 days, 2 days are spent on heavy combination, 3^rd day is both a mixture of training with two trailers and reversing, 4^th day is the assessment for competence to drive a B Double

 Costs

Because each trainee varies in both their skill level and confidence, the training must be adapted to Individually suit each trainee.

For this reason the cost varies according to what training needs to be applied. The cost can be from $3000.00 through to $3500.00
