Heavy Rigid Competency Based Assessment.

HR Information:

• Restricted to 3 Axels.

• GVM of more than 15 Ton.

• Our Synchromesh Vehicle is a Hino with a 6 speed gear box.

• Our Road Ranger Vehicle is a Ford Cargo with a 13 speed gear box.

CBA Information:

• ACCREDITED HEAVY VEHICLE DRIVING INSTRUCTOR NO. 008766        

• RTA ACCREDITED HEAVY VEHICLE DRIVING ASSESSOR NO. 008766

• All training is done to flexible times to suit the individual clients requirements.

• Progress is discussed with each client at the end of each lesson.

• Training is tailored to suit the needs of each individual client.

• The amount of time varies for each trainee according to each individuals needs.  So the quote for driver training is an ESTIMATE only.  Some students may require more or less time to complete training.

Course Prerequisites:

• Trainee must pass a heavy Vehicle Knowledge Test ($37.00# Per Test payable to the RTA) at the RTA prior to commencing training.  (You can collect the Heavy Vehicle and Road Rules Handbook ($10.00 each#) from your local RTA, or online by clicking going to our links section.)

• Must hold the Heavy Learners Logbook and a guide to heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment from the RTA (This costs $22# from the RTA on completion of your Knowledge Assessment).

• You must have held a Class C license for a period of not less than 2 years.

On completion with Alltrans Training Services, return to your local RTA with the completed logbook, pay a $20# fee for your upgraded licence.
